Don't be a fool. You can't take a shit in any legal system in less than 10 days.
Saddam has 10 days to appeal his sentence to the Court of Appeals. They will take as much time as they need to reach their decision.
There is debate as to whether he can then appeal to the Constutional Court. Compounding the mess is that the Consitutional Court hasn't been formed yet.
The expectation ATM is that the Court of Appeals will be fairly quick in their review and will uphold the sentence. As in, a few months. The speculation is that the Constitutional Court won't touch it.
Once the appeals are exhausted, Saddam has to be executed within 30 days. After that, his only appeal will be as a folk hero to assclowns.

Long story short? What is the maximum amount of time before we see him dead? I really dont desire to see him die, contrary to the way I worded that. But I just know there are so many loopholes and I would expect it to be drawn out for the longest...
