Wuzzah.

WoW is cool as hell. Most MMORPGs require ridiculous time committments to advance your character, e.g. FF11. If you were to start a FF character now, it would take MONTHS (5,6 or more) to get to the point where you could compete, or even play with some one that has been playing since release. WoW doesn't have nearly the learning, or advancement curve. You could start playing WoW today, and be able to actively play with any one in 2-3 months time.

This is wow right here. Summing up Hkat.

Wow is masterful in it's design. Any I mean any noob can solo to 60 any class . However to master some of the raids, and be able to master a class take skill. It is almost a flawless system. Imho.

And time. You name it. If you have an hour you can get a lot accomplished.

I think that the time investment is the most significant difference between other games and WoW. You really can do a lot of progression (quest completion, travel, etc) in just a short amount of time compared to other MMOs.
