Spartanburg sniper...

You guys see that guy who was holding a hostage last night get dropped by a police sniper? Everyone was talking about it in class today and I missed it
It seems that it was live on the news and the dude got taken out by a combination of swat tanks and a sniper...pretty quaility television.

All the videos on the local news websites are trash. I bet fox has it, but I dont know what our local fox affiliate is.

It was a hostage situation, the only sniper invovled were the police ones. Fox was on it most of the day. I don't know if there's any footage, but they basically brought in a bulldozer, knocked a hole into the gas station's wall and a police sniper shot the guy in the shoulder. It was a 12 hour standoff and they cut his power pretty early, when they shot him he was in a cooler trying not to sweat to death. Cashier ran safely to police and hostage taker is in the hospital under fair condition. I'm glad the new office we're building puts me so much closer to that side of town. blah.
