Meh, I'd say InuYasha is in the middle of the pack. Pretty formulaic plot with some decent humor and action. It's not atrocious like Dragon Ball Z or Super Milk Chan, but it's nowhere near the same league as Cowboy Bebop or Ghost in the Shell: SAC.

Sorry, Dragonball Z >> Inuyasha, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, and One Piece.

That's right, I said it.

They're all bad, Dragonball Z is just a little less shittier than the rest.

Well it's true that DBZ is greater than One Piece, but those others? Sorry, but I have to strongly disagree. I'll tell you the same thing I told a friend of mine who said he didn't like the Ghost in the Shell movie because of all the quiet non-combat parts. Go buy Fist of the North Star. You'll enjoy it. :P

In my opinion, the plots of Inuyasha and DBZ are on about the same level. The dividing factor is that the action in DBZ isn't that bad, while it's real bad in Inuyasha.

The Ghost in the Shell movie wasn't that bad, but the series is. It may just be me, but I don't see how you could use that movie to create any form of intersting series.

True, the DBZ action sequences are much better than those in InuYasha. But InuYasha at least has some plot in between the action sequences whereas DBZ has none.

I haven't seen the entire GitS:SAC series so I can't give a complete opinion on it, but from what I've seen so far I really like it. The movie was all about trying to define how much of a human you could replace with machinery before they were no longer human. The series turns it on its head and explores the concept of how sophisticated you can make machines before you can no longer consider them to be simply machines.

I can't believe sentient creatures defend or even enjoy Dragon Ball Z.

Who cares, 99% of anime sucks, and no one speaks about the 1% that doesn't.
