Gene Wolfe

Try Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun series: Shadow and Claw, Sword and Citadel are the 2 books. He has an incredible, unique writing style and an amazing imagination. Also by him are The Wizard and The Knight-very good as well. Can be difficult to find the first 2, may need to order from Amazon, but well worth it.

Interesting. I am always looking for new books to try. I will keep an eye out for it at the used book store.
