I am nothing if not a zealous advocate for my 3rd Parent.

Even though Payn does love the man meat, I have to side on nintendo. I fought the urge to buy my GameCube for a long time, finally glad when I broke down and bought it. Sure there are alot of kiddy games, but the classic names of zelda, mario, metroid etc.. kept me interested and diverted me when my more serious games were driving me nuts. I just hope they come out the gates a little stronger than they did with the gc's release. They have also put out a few good rpgs(we won't talk about crystal chronicles.)
Life is easier when you just don't give a damn.

Here is the current look at the Wii launch lineup:

http://www.nwizard.com/web/index.php?op ... 5&Itemid=2
--------------------------------

Some quick comparisons. The Xbox 360 launched last year with 18 games in the US, although only a handfull were exclusive, and 11 of them were sports games. The Wii counters with it's games spanning numerous genres (maybe even inventing some new ones) and over 20 exclusive titles. The PS3 is currently sitting at 15 confirmed games on it's November 17th launch day. Of course, this is expected to increase in the next few months. That said, the current Wii launch list (which you can see below) is far from final, and we wouldn't say it's a stretch to expect to see at least 30 games on launch day. If that doesn't get you excited about the Wii, you have no soul.

Title Publisher
Avatar: The Last Airbender THQ
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII Ubisoft
Blitz: The League Midway
Call of Duty 3 Activision
Cars THQ
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Atari
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors Square Enix
Elebits Konami
Excite Truck Nintendo
Far Cry Ubisoft
GT Pro Series Ubisoft
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers Square Enix
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Nintendo
Madden NFL 07 EA
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Activision
Metal Slug Anthology SNK
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Nintendo
Monster 4x4 World Circuit Ubisoft
Need for Speed: Carbon EA
Open Season Ubisoft
Rayman Raving Rabbids Ubisoft
Red Steel Ubisoft
SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab THQ
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz Sega
Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam Activision
Trauma Center: Second Opinion Atlus
Wii Sports Nintendo

One last note of interest. Worried about that post-launch drought? Well, if we don't see 'em at launch, remember Super Mario Galaxy, WarioWare, Fire Emblem, Prince of Persia, Sonic, and of course Super Smash Bros. Brawl aren't very far behind.
------------------------------------

Zelda, Metroid, Wii Sports at launch with a real Mario game, SSBB, Prince of Persia right after? Sign me the fuck up.

Oh yeah, the system is expected to be -$200-.

As soon as my wife see a display of Wii tennis I am sure we are going to get one. We love to play tennis, we just don't like to go to the local parks that have an incrementing Rape Counter on the entrance post.

Yeah, why leave the house when Mario can rape you with his vibrating wand at home?

Man, if that won't convince Jan to buy this system, nothing will.
