The end of this book caught me completely by surprise. Has anyone read it or am I wasting my time wanting to talk about it here?

Andy Borowitz: Man Commits Suicide after Learning Harry Potter Spoiler
'I No Longer Have a Reason to Live,' Says Despondent Potter Fan

A rabid Harry Potter fan took his life yesterday after inadvertently learning a plot spoiler from the soon-to-be-released J.K. Rowling opus, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6)

http://yubanet.com/artman/publish/article_22620.shtml

Ms. Clovis said that she hoped Mr. Ralston's death would cause federal authorities to tighten the flow of Harry Potter plot information to prevent similar tragedies from taking place.

"In my heart I believe that could have saved Jude's life, even if he didn't have one," she said.

Yea hopfully he didnt have any kids, but I would really doubt it. Look on the bright side if he didnt have kids atleast that gene pool had a happy ending.

"But when he started wearing that wizard hat around town, we really should have seen that as a cry for help."

I finished it yesterday, and was definitely surprised at the end. All in all I thought it was pretty good, answered a buttload of questions but raised a lot more at the same time. Looking forward to 7 and this damn series finally being over.

You think she will still end it at 7 now? She left the door pretty open to be able to write as many as she god damn wants to.

After the chapter "A Very Frosty Christmas" I was convinced of the result (though clueless of the method) of the ending.

As for the number of books, Rowling has said again that the events in this book do not change the number yet to come, and there's nothing to suggest that R.A.B hasn't collected all the pieces of the triforce, err, Horcruxes already.

I just hope that the following bull shit doesnt happen...

Harry, Hermione and Ron confront and their love for one another defeats him. I wish Harry would learn some fucking dark magic or something. The first 200 pages of the next book need to have the trio kicking major death eater ass and have them learn some new skills and even make up some new shit.

The power of the mighty orgy ftw. That would be a nice welcome to adulthood event for the kids reading.

Looney Theory of the Week:

Harry is Horcrux #6 and is the Gryffindor Trophy.

Therefore Harry must die for H-W-M-N-B-N to die.

That would be fine with me...I am pissed at him for using the spiderman speech on Ginny anyways.

I am more pissed that Dummy died in this book instead of book 5. I would rather have had another book of Sirius Black and then have him bite it.
