Now that I've got a job and can afford to buy this stuff, I never download it. Whenever I find a movie/book/music CD/game that I really want, I see buying it as a way to reward the creator(s) for what they've done and encourage them to make more of it.
Now when I was in high school and college and had almost no money, that was a different story.

But...but...think of the set painters in those movies and how you not paying the big wigs makes them not get their money......uh huh.

Because not buying a ticket is a sure-fire way to pay salaries. Mmmhmm.
I'm with Zolo.

Y eah I don't have much respect for pirating games/movies. I like to think of my money as a way to say "Your game/movie is good. Please continue to make more like it."
Microsoft office? Pirate away.
