At least i always have a clear conscience when i pirate microsoft software. I have to agree that i do pay for games if I like them. Hell i finally just payed for AO though i only bought the game then cancelled it cause of all the free trials I've done. I also actually bought Planetside, but then again didn't pay for any months.

Y eah I don't have much respect for pirating games/movies. I like to think of my money as a way to say "Your game/movie is good. Please continue to make more like it."

Microsoft office? Pirate away.
I used to believe this until they started to ass-rape us by re-re-re-releasing movies or making you pay full price to upgrade from your vcr tapes to DVD.

Fucking Terminator 2. They had 4 releases of that movie on DVD. First, they had some dude in somalia do the transfer from film to DVD, I swear the picture quality was horrid, VCR tapes looked better. Then they re-released the DVD, same horrible transfer, they added some worthwhile commentary/extras. Then they released it again, with a reasonable transfer and then once again in High Definition.

Y eah I will agree that the studios have gone over the top with this special edition DVD bullshit. Like LOTR, where they release the crappy dvd in the summer and the special edition the following november. Same thing for every movie.

At least with LOTR they -tell you- that they're going to release a better version, and they tell you when, and the time difference isn't that great.
