Book recomendations?
Well I read alot of fantasy, but outside of that I read alot of military history, mythology, and well history in general. What I'm looking for is to see if anyone has read, or knows of, any good books about the Knights Templar. I have a couple, looking for more factual books, covering both sides, that which the order was publicly announced as being made for, and what it was claimed to be doing.
Life is easier when you just don't give a damn.

I have read "Dungeon, Fire, and Sword" , which Amazon has at
http://www.amazon.com/Dungeon-Fire-Swor ... F8&s=books
It gives the history of the Templars from their birth in the Crusades until the very end when King Philip issues the original Order 66. More importantly, it gives the historical context for why they were hated and feared pretty much from the beginning. Amazon reviews indicate that there may be a few inaccuracies as to dates, but they say the discrepancies are by a few weeks.
