Official US Presidential Election Thread
I tried to post this with a poll but it had errors, so we'll have to leave that out.
We have Bush and Cheney vs Kerry and Edwards, with Nader and his cohort shitting in the sandbox.
The question to answer is:
Who do you want to win (even you foreigners) and why?
Begin!

Bush all the way.
I would never vote for Kerry unless he said something about burning down Iraq and sodomizing Saddam Hussein.
So why is Edwards running with Kerry? There was quite a bit of mudslinging in that whole spiel. Kerry had several commercials talking about how Edwards was not fit to be in the White House.

Too bad the people that fought to bring it down only put it on the front lawn so that you can't miss it. But that's another topic.
My father delves into politics on occasion. He put together a mini poll at work like he does every 2 years. He was quite worried. With the election of 2000, they had 67 votes Bush 55 votes Gore in the July mini poll.
This time, they had 48 votes Bush 77 votes Kerry. That is quite astonishing, especially considering they rid themselves of many corporate positions held by Northerners, promoted within the ranks, and hired locally.
He is quite worried about the election. My grandmother even spoke of voting for Kerry back in May. I was unnerved, but then she served me some dinner.
