Re: WoT ftw!
I can live in a world in which Harry Potter (in book form) is ranked higher than LOTR (in book form).
I do not, however, believe that it is the Best Fantasy Ever; I especially do not believe that Lemony Snicket is better than Star Wars.

Re: WoT ftw!
I reject any poll that has Lemony Snicket in the top 5, and Harry Potter at #1.

Re: Upheaval.
Prosilver is what I was using, and we hates it. SubSilver is fine.
I second the flattening of the forums, and if it cant be done by the client then I'd rather break them out as they were.

There's just next to nothing in the way of development, culture, etc between about 525 and 12th century.... it was like all of Europe practically sat on their asses for the better part of 600+ years. This is the part that doesn't match history. That Krakatoa link above is kind of interesting though...

Earth would become a sauna for a few years, most plant life would die, welcome to the world of famine and disease, most of the world would die off, probably about 80% of humans anyway... think Boubonic Plague, massive scale. Floods, fire, natural disasters etc would destroy most everything since th...
