I finally met up with my buddy Chris at a party last night (my first night I've taken off since starting this job... Sooo damn fun :)), and he saddled me down with all kinds of great ideas. He's definitely my resident comic guru around here, and I thought I'd pass along some of his suggestions. He r...

My buddy Josh and I hit the comic store last night and made a few selections. They didn't have the first book of Hellblazer, so we're just going to grab it from DCDirect soon-ish. For now, we're trading Preachers 6 & 7 and The Invisibles, while I read his Sandman collection. I saw 100 Bullets th...

Preacher:

Not so much a book as a comic, but definitely great. Knowing that half of the guys around here are as open-minded as I am about trying new comics, I was looking for some ideas for new series to pick up and also seeing if anyone else had heard of/read the Preacher series yet. I'm taking my time with ...

War of the Ancients:

Penned by Richard A. Knaak, I was lucky enough to get a free copy of the first book of the trilogy with the collector's edition of WoW. (I got a stupid-good deal on it, so no jokes about overpaying for the CE :P). Since then, I've scooped up the other two books and absolutely devoured them. They're ...

Miss the part where I bought two copies the week they came out? Just re-reading it now, and figured I'd mention it for anyone who missed it at the time :P

America (The Book):

Who wouldn't expect a book penned by the Daily Show to be incredible? When it came out last year, I immediately picked up two copies. I gave one to my favorite teacher from high school (who was as big of a politics/history geek as I am), and kept one for myself. Re-reading it in my short supply of f...

Yes. The MS Paint I've learned how to do everything with except for convert from .bmp to .jpg without losing massive loads of quality, and combined with the Photoshop that I'd be lost and confused trying to learn how to use (I'm guessing).

If anyone can spawn a mutant hybrid program, it'd be Jan.

When the levee breaks, I'll (they'll) have no place to stay. I feel a bit less morbid knowing that I wasn't the only one to have that thought, Xolo. I was reading a newspaper at work during break when that song came up as the random one on my ipod. It's funny that it always made me think of New Orle...

I Wish Blizzard Had Just Cum In My Mouth.

<p>I know that's a scary visual, but I feel it would've left a better taste in my mouth than patch 1.6 and its many, many bugs. Perhaps I'm an optimist, but I suppose I expect a patch to be delayed when game-breaking bugs are present and are being 'researched', some of which were just downright nutt...
